Anna says that her sisters are her fashion inspiration because she says they all help each other out pick the best clothes for each other.
Most of Anna’s clothes are hand-me-downs from family and friends. Anna rarely goes to the mall. She prefers to shop at JCPenney, one of her favorite stores.
Anna’s clothing reflects the sweetness of her personality. She and her fashion are both largely influenced by her family. She and her sisters help each other pick out clothes together. They create outfits and share their tastes. Most of her clothes are hand-me-downs from her family and friends. When Anna does shop she prefers generic shops like JCPenney. Anna’s shy but enthusiastic self are expressed in her outfits.
Emma doesn’t really have a specific person that she looks up to when it comes to fashion. She likes to pick out outfits and certain styles that she thinks make her look nice and make her feel good.
She usually buys her clothes from brand stores , like Target, Charlotte Russe, Forever 21, and Hot Topic. When “If Forever 21 lowered their prices a bit, it would definitely be my favorite clothing store,” she says.
Emma tries to dress in ways that make her feel confident. She picks things that made her feel good and think that she looks good. Olesen absolutely loves Tilda Swinton. She believes that Swinton’s sense of style is amazing , she doesn’t necessarily directly emulate Swinton, but she, “respects the way she dresses.”
She would love to buy clothes from high end stores, but she usually ends up going to, “ european based mass producing “ stores like H&M and Zara. For work wear Zara is her favorite because, “they have clean modern lines”.
As an adult Olesen has had more time to refine her sense of fashion. She says that she adores Tilda Swinton and her style. She doesn’t directly emulate Swinton in her clothes but she, “respects the way she dresses.” If she weren’t a highschool teacher she might buy clothes from high end stores but she usually ends up going to, “European based mass producing” stores like H&H and Zara.
Gross doesn’t have an inspiration. He just buys whatever he thinks looks nice. “On the interweb , because they’re cheaper on there,” he said with conviction.”I would have to go with J crew, because they make good clothing. The pants fit well, and they have nice sweaters.” He also says whoever is doing their forecasting for that store is pretty good. Gross thinks that fashion is basically not worthy of much of his brain space. In general he doesn’t have much of an inspiration. He buys whatever he thinks looks nice. He is an emphatic believer in buying clothes on the “interweb because they’re cheaper there.” In terms of stores he says that he generally goes to J crew because the pants fit well and they have nice sweaters.
