The current organization of Flex Block and Choice block is ineffective for several reasons. First of all, there are two Flex blocks each week. Each block is split into two parts, one student hour and one choice block. It’s inconvenient to have these two blocks split, especially for choice blocks that may require more than just a half hour of meeting time. This includes the Innovator, as well as many other student organizations that take advantage of choice block time to meet. It would make more sense to just have one student hour and one choice block each week, and then students could focus and put adequate time and effort into each task.
